Session on Literature Searching Conducted

A highly informative session on Literature Searching was successfully conducted as part of the ongoing Research Training Camp. The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Brihaspati Sigdel, providing participants with practical knowledge essential for academic research.

The session emphasized effective strategies for searching scientific literature, with a special focus on the use of Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to refine and optimize search results in databases such as PubMed. Participants learned how to structure search queries to obtain precise and relevant research articles.

In addition, the session covered the efficient use of Google Scholar as a tool for accessing scholarly articles, citations, and related research work. Practical demonstrations were provided to enhance understanding and application.

The interactive session enabled participants to actively engage, ask questions, and develop confidence in navigating research databases. The knowledge gained is expected to significantly strengthen their ability to conduct evidence-based research.

The session concluded with positive feedback, highlighting its relevance and practical value for aspiring medical researchers.
